Yay!! Will you move into the garage whe it is done? Do you need Rob and I to help move your stuff from Amberley soon? Rob’s Auntie and Uncle arrive from Australia on Weds 15th and are here until Monday 20th so we will be busy with them then. We will probably take them to Akaroa one day so we will be able to stop in on the way.

Yes, it will be fine when finished, it’s OK now, we have got the “lock” layers on, that means all the pieces are now joined together. According to Fraemohs, their houses were the only ones left standing after an earthquake in Japan! The roof is starting on Thursday, should take two weeks. the garage goes up this week, we have to paint and varnish outside and inside, then we do windows, tiles, kitchen, I’m thinking it will be done by end of November.

Poor Colin doing all of the hammering!!! I bet he has got sore hands!! I can’t believe the wind blew down one of the walls!! I assume that when the house is finished it will be more secure and you won’t have to worry about your house being blown down! I had been thinking of you building in the wind. So how long will it take for the roof to be finished? Can you still do other things while Darren is doing the roof? When will the kitchen be fitted? Maybe Rob and I will come down and have another look soon.
