Here we are in Beijing, we arrived at 6am this morning! The ovens on the plane had an electrical fault, so all we got for breakfast was fruit and yoghurt and orange juice. This meant we got here hungry, so you can guess what we did – went to McDonalds for breakfast. We both had a big breakfast for a total of under $10! Here is a photo of McD’s to celebrate. We have breakfast included at the hotel so looking forward to that. We are within walking distance of the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, so have had a look at that. There are heaps more places to go, all very exciting. Lots of people offering us tour guide services, and pedicab rides.
