We are now at Yosemite.

There are a lot of people here, and a lot of photographers. If you want a good position for sunset, you have to get there at least an hour early, and then you can’t move or someone else will grab your spot. It’s all very friendly though, lots of chat.
Where’s all the snow??????
wow! that’s stunning!
I pulled out our America photo album at the weekend to compare some of the pictures. I wonder if the last photo of the waterfall is the same one that is in the album which hasn’t got any water going over it!
Wasn’t it a snowfall Vic? I recognise it too. Looks different without the snow but still very beautiful.
It’s Upper Yosemite Fall, which was frozen in 1992, with just a bit of snow blowing over. Now it’s the end of Spring thaw and there’s a lot of water going over. We walked through a bit of snow on some of the high country walks, but there’s not much left in the Valley.
