We had heard that Changi is the best airport in the world, so thought we would have a look. Made me wish I had a couple of kids to take around!
Grandad poses with Mickey and Minnie.
So does everyone else!
Krispy Kreme donuts – which to choose?
We are on trend with salted caramel.
Grandad’s verdict? OK.
Artwork – bet you could guess it is called Kinetic Rain.
Fascinating.
Santa’s grotto.
Now here’s something really exciting…
Colin in his element….
Monsoon rain – Singapore is one of those places where every building is cooled, and when you open the door, it’s hotter outside than in. Our glasses kept steamimg up.
We also saw a giant tube slide. Kids could get one go for every $10 spent by their parents. Can you imagine what fun that would be? The kids were loving it, down the slide, back up in the glass lift, down the slide again…there’s a huge mall with food courts, lots of fun rides for the kids, sorry no photos, don’t like pointing a camera at other peoples’ kids.
We missed the butterfly farm unfortunately, but we had some delicious food at the Baguette Cafe.
Lots to do in Singapore, definitely worth the trip.

I thought the kinetic rain was Christmas baubles! Lol. The thing I remember most about Changi was that Rob and I walked from our gate for 25 minuttes, in a straight line, and we were STILL inside the airport! It is just massive!
Yum!! Salted Caramel Doughnuts!!
Mmmmmmm…Doughnuts…
I remember leaving the airport when Kelby and I went through Singapore on a trip back to the UK and it was like opening the oven door, just a huge wall of heat hit you.
