Mixed weather at Cambridge. Here is a sunny spell…

I can’t send you pictures of “The Queen’s summer retreat” at Sandringham, as both house and grounds were closed. However, the two hours of walking there and back from our caravan site will have done us good, I’m sure:-)
This is the Trinity Guildhall and Town Hall, King’s Lynn – that chequer pattern must make it hard to redecorate! That cloud just posed beautifully, didn’t it?

There’s nothing like getting to a location and finding scaffolding, or roadworks. The only thing missing from this scene is the White Van…

The first day we went to Flamborough Head, it was so windy that as I walked, I could feel the foot that was lifted off the ground actually being blown around! So, not to be put off, we went a few more times. I wouldn’t say we had good weather, but it was impressive. Lovely place!

Here we are at Bridlington on the Yorkshire Riviera! As at York, the weather has been very mixed. Today (Monday) we’ve had some sun, and the wind has dropped a bit. We were out at the harbour very early this morning as you can see.
