Lincoln is another lovely medieval city, similar to York…

With a fancy cathedral…

Old houses, converted to tourist shops…

Black and white houses, cobbles…

The oldest bridge in the UK that still has buildings on it (built 1160, that’s less than 100 years after Battle of Hastings)…

Looks good in the rain too…

Has a university…

And a modern shopping centre, full of shops that sell phones, (but not the one Colin wanted) and a river…

The fishing lake at our camp site, with apps…
Yes Colin did buy himself a Nexus 6, but we had to order it online and pick up from Argos. This is fine with me, as now I can spend an equivalent amount on unnecessary clothes:-)…anyone want a Samsung Galaxy S2, going cheap?
We are now at Sandringham. We will go and have a look at the house later, though it’s not open at this time of year.
Ooohhh Nexus 6!! Exciting!! Lincoln looks fabulous, so pretty.
Is it me, or does the house on the bridge look straighter in the black and white version than the colour one?
Anyone…?
You think a new phone is more exciting than new clothes?
Depends which line you straighten it on, that’s medieval buildings for you:-)
Without question! I could only spend half that amount on clothes before I got bored….
Just guessing, but I think Caroline would agree with me, Vicky would be torn between the two.
