Brighton, Home of the Naughty Weekend

Brighton Royal Pavilion in early spring.

Sunshine has been in very short supply this week – luckily, when we did get our 30 minutes worth, we were at the Brighton Pavilion and managed to get some nice shots there.

Brighton Beach, winter, Sussex, England, UK.

It didn’t last long, as you can see from this, just a little while later. Brighton as a town seems to have an over abundance of teenagers, for some reason. Obviously, they aren’t on the beach! The town bought this wheel second hand, from South Africa!

We have had to resort to fog pictures – doubt they will sell!Brighton Pier on a soft, warm, foggy spring day, Sussex, England.

The Doughnut, a piece of public art on Brighton seafront by Hamish Black, 1998.

More Art – The Doughnut. That hole in the top isn’t damage, it’s there on purpose – it’s North America! There was I, thinking it was vandalism by some of those over abundant teens!

Tomorrow we leave for Bognor Regis, we have 3 nights there, then 3 nights at Portsmouth, then we cross over to Caen on the 26th.

  1. I think I’m mispronouncing ‘Bognor Regis’, as I get ‘bog-naw redge-is’ but if it’s in England maybe not?
