Yes, we arrived on Arran on a sunny day!

The village of Lamlash. We circumnavigated the whole island. Took us about six hours, but that included a long walk (well, 3 miles) up to Machrie Moor and back.

The coastline. There aren’t any exciting coastal bits, but it’s pretty.

Standing stones on Machrie Moor. We were here twenty three years ago, the walk seemed easier then.

We stopped here for lunch – two packets of home made biscuits, including shortbread, and a bottle of juice.

That was yesterday. Today it has rained all day, and we have stayed in the van and caught up on our processing. Tomorrow we leave for Glagow! I couldn’t watch Tutti Frutti (1990?) because I couldn’t understand the accent, but luckily have my own personal interpreter.
