Loch Lomond isn’t the most exciting or the most beautiful place in Scotland, no matter what the song says.

It’s quite pretty.

We did get some sunny weather, amongst the wind and rain.

We went for a walk!

To this place.

We are now at Oban, so we are now in the Highlands, which is much more interesting. The weather is also interesting, with violent wind and rain shaking our caravan, interspersed with short but beautiful sunny spells. Should we go to Spain, or should we stick it out? We’ve decided to do the washing up and go to Tesco.
It doesn’t look too disimilar to NZ does it? Could almost be any regular bush track or marina in Queen Charlotte. Although those hills look very Cantabrian…
Hmmmm…Spain or Tesco…what dreadful decisions you have to make!
Yes those hills do look a little Cantabrian.
My advice is stay in Scotland and hide in your caravan from the weather so you can concentrate more on the family album. It’s looking a little sparse so far.
