And yes, it’s more eroded sandstone! This one is called Chimney Rock, and we climbed up the hillside behind it. To me, it should be called The Sphinx.

Capitol Reef is not as crowded as some of the other parks, but still very worthwhile.

We climbed up here and sat on a bench, and listened to this guy singing and playing his guitar. Saves annoying the neighbours!

Capitol Dome. We need to spend longer in this park! Next stop – Bryce Canyon, and yes, more eroded sandstone. Bryce will be our final eroded sandstone destination, after that it will be tufa, and then granite. Can you guess where?
