These two towns are very near neighbours of Bognor, but couldn’t be more different. This is the only pic we have from Chichester as the weather very quickly turned dreary, but no worries as the town is a shopaholics paradise. Luckily we have very little spare space in the caravan, so I wasn’t able to spend too much! However, I enjoyed a visit to Seasalt, whose website I have been keeping an eye on. I was not disappointed! Colin got some new trainers from Blacks, as I felt a bit guilty afterwards! But having not got the photos, we may just have to go to Chichester again!

Arundel is possible the poshest place I have ever been. How often do you see a Ferrari parked in the street? I must admit I wouldn’t have noticed it, but my car spotter husband pointed it out.

Also the Porsche…

The Bentley, the BMW Z4…

As a potential investor I was pleased to see they have their fair share of scaffolding!

They also have a Catholic Cathedral…

I don’t know what this little building is but it’s interesting. It is made entirely of wood, and as you can see they are doing their bit to make sure cabbage trees are ubiquitous…

The Church of St Nicholas – I suppose it’s the same St Nick we all know about…

An old Dominican Friary…

Man in green wellies. He passed the time of day with us, and with the wellies, the accent and the castle across the road, I wondered if it was the duke, but it’s not.

Bosham Harbour

Church dating back to the 800’s.
Today we leave for Portsmouth. All in all, I’m not sure why the south east is so popular, It has one long pebble beach all the way along, mostly dull towns, Yorkshire is actually far more attractive. However we will keep quiet about that as we don’t want all the Southerners moving in, do we?
There goes my theory about places I’ve never heard of…
