It’s a long way from the Lake District to Cambridgeshire, so we stopped off in York (third trip this year) then carried on to Mildenhall, a forest site, which is near Cambridge – the Cambridge site was full.
The Lake District was two days good, two days wet, that west coast mountains thing again.
When it was good, it was spectacular.
Not that it’s a problem, we like Edinburgh! We had a week here, maybe three days good weather, the rest we had to find ways to entertain ourselves. We went to a couple of exhibitions, one impressionist, one surrealist. Spent time in the caravan. Went shopping. I went into the White Stuff flagship store, that was fun!
They sell mens too, but Colin wasn’t interested.
